Iran's Column - City of Buenos Aires

It is a replica of one of the columns of Cyrus II’s Palace in Persepolis, who ruled Persia in the VI century (b.C). He was considered to be the father of the Persian Empire. The Palace was constructed in between the VIth and Vth centuries b.C. by Darius II, king of the same dinasty, and his son Xerxes I.
